No suelo disfrazarme por Halloween pero el otro día encontré este tutorial de uñas "sangrientas" en Refinery29 y decidí probarlas a ver qué tal salían. Fue super sencillo (sólo van a necesitar esmalte rojo, blanco y una cañita), quedaron geniales y van a ser el detalle perfecto para las celebraciones de mañana en la noche. ¡Tengan una linda semana!

I never dress up for Halloween but found this rad "bloodsplattered nails" DIY at Refinery29 and decided to give them a try. It's an extremely easy procedure (you just need red & white nail polish and a small straw), they turned out great and are going to be the perfect detail for the celebrations tomorrow night! ¿Se acuerdan del post de las mermaid nails que hice hace un tiempo? En el fin de semana decidí hacer una versión más delicada y sencilla usando brillo de uñas y esmalte de glitter dorado. ¡Me encantó cómo quedaron, sobre todo en la luz! Es super sencillo hacerlas, además que pueden dejárselas por varios días porque no se descascaran fácilmente!

Do you guys remember my mermaid nails post a while ago? I decided to do a more delicate version of them over the weekend using clear nail polish & golden glitter. I loved the final result, especially at night! Also, it's very easy to get them done and you can have them for days since they hardly chip off!

My parka/coat is making an appearance again, this time with a very comfortable and relaxed look with my favorite leggings and an oversized top. My so called uniform for days when I don't really want to think too much. Also, as you know, my style is very simple but I like to play with details, like the texture of the leggings, for example. Una o dos veces por semana, junto a dos súper amigos del trabajo salgo a tomar las fotos de mis outfits. Y por alguna razón, hoy fue más divertido de lo normal. Nos reímos muchísimo haciendo el ridículo, buscando paredes "interesantes" y tomándonos fotos entre nosotros (¡estén atentos porque una de mis amigas cercanas pronto formará parte de la blogósfera también!). 

Fue genial distraernos durante un rato, sobre todo porque regresamos a la oficina cansados, pero contentos. Y... no sólo me divertí durante el proceso, sino que también el resultado final quedó genial!

Once or twice a week, along with two good friends I go out to take my outfit pictures. For some reason, today's shoot was more fun than usual. We laughed a lot making fools of ourselves, looking for "interesting" walls and taking pictures of each other (stay tuned because of my good friends will soon be launching a blog too!). 

The shooting process wasn't the only fun thing, but the final result turned out pretty great!

Remember I told you I was looking for a parka? Well, I found this kind of parka/light coat over the weekend and have been wearing it non stop. It's perfect for this time of the year because it doesn't make me feel like I'm melting during the day. You'll be seeing many looks featuring this new piece! This time I decided to go for a very simple but chic combination, stripes with black pumps. Simple, comfortable & pretty!

Para mi, una de las mejores cosas en la vida, es viajar. Estuve revisando mis archivos de fotos de viajes, seleccioné estas porque definitivamente no son las típicas fotos turísticas. Estas son de mi viaje a Italia y resumen los momentos divertidos y espontáneos que vives cuando viajas con tus amigos.

Cinque Terre. ¿Qué haces cuando no tienes dónde dejar tus maletas y estás viajando por Italia durante una semana? Las tienes llevas contigo a TODOS lados...el carry on, la mochila y la cartera. ¡No entiendo cómo sobreviven los verdaderos mochileros! 

 Cinque Terre. What do you do when you don't have anywhere to leave your bags and happen to be travelling around Italy for a week? You have to take them with you...the carry on, backpack and purse. I don't understand how real backpackers survive for months! 

Florencia. El amigo al que no le gusta el fútbol reconoce al Loco Vargas en pleno Mercado de Florencia! 

Florence. The friend who doesn't have any interest in football points out a peruvian football player in the middle of the Florence Market. 

Verona. ¡Gracias a dios por la amiga que sabe leer los mapas sin importar la ciudad o el idioma. Es un GPS andante! ¿Qué hubiéramos hecho sin ella? 

Verona. Thank god for the friend who can read maps, no matter the city or language. She's a human GPS! What would we have done without her?

Siempre busco ropa en el clóset de mi abuela y esta chompa fue un hallazgo hace un par de años. Es demasiado cómoda, con detalles geniales y lo mejor de todo es que tiene sabe dios cuántos años y está en perfecto estado!

Es perfecta para esta época del año porque no es demasiado abrigadora y hoy con la esperanza de que iba a salir el sol, decidí ponérmela. El único problema fue que el sol nunca salió y me congelé durante todo el día! ¿Qué cosas se han robado del clóset de sus abuelas?

I'm always looking for clothes in my grandma's closet and this sweater was one of my best finds a couple of years ago. It's very comfortable, has great details and the best thing is that god knows how many years of existence it has! 

It's perfect for this time of the year because it's not too cozy and since I hoped the sun was going to come out today, I wore it. The only problem was that since it never came out, I froze all day long!

Los parkas son perfectos para ésta época del año, abrigan pero no demasiado, son muy combinables y se ven super bien, ¿no les parece? Yo ando en busca de uno perfecto pero aún no lo encuentro, este me lo prestó una amiga, así que todo tipo de recomendaciones son bienvenidas! 

También quería presentarles al señor mostacho, el tatuaje que me hice la semana pasada! Ha sido el primero que me hago y estoy totalmente segura de que no será el último porque no sólo me encanta cómo se ve, sino que la experiencia fue...interesante! El señor mostacho cada día me gusta más y estoy contentísima con cómo quedó! ♥ ¿Ustedes tienen tatuajes o se quieren hacer uno?

Parkas are just perfect for this time of the year because it's not too cold, they can be worn with pretty much everything and look great, don't you think? I've been looking for the perfect one but haven't had any luck & borrowed this one from a friend. Any suggestions? 

Also...I wanted to show you Mr. Moustache, my new tattoo! It was my first and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last one because I just LOVE how it looks & the whole experience was pretty cool! I like it even more every day and I'm so happy about getting it done! Do you guys have a tattoo or plan on getting one anytime soon?

El jueves de la semana pasada estuve en el lanzamiento de MAC Me Over con algunas de las lindas bloggers. Era la primera vez que iba a un evento de la marca y la verdad es que estuvo genial! Podían maquillarte con los productos de la nueva colección (vean la foto de Yul más abajo) y al final nos regalaron algunos productos. 

A mi me tocó el delineador en gel, Fluidline (Avenue) que está buenísimo, es de color negro pero con un toque de dorado y la máscara de pestañas Studio Fix Boldblack lash, que hace que mis pestañas se vean larguísimas sin dejar de lucir naturales!

I attended MAC's launch of their MAC Me Over! Collection with some of my fellow lovely bloggers. It was my first time attending an event from the brad and I've got to say it was great! You could get your makeup done and at the end we got some goodies! 

I was lucky to get a Fluidline gel eye liner (it's a great black with a touch of gold) and a Studio Fix Boldblack mascara which makes my eyelashes looks super long but natural at the same time!

¿El fin de semana no se les pasó volando? Yo no hice mucho, aparte de dormir, seguir viendo How I Met Your Mother (AMO la serie!) y comer! Al fin y cabo tuve una semana ocupadísima, llena de trabajo y eventos que me dejaron exhausta! 

En fin...este fue mi outfit de hoy. Me encanta el color del pantalón, aunque no lo parezca el tono es más fresa que rojo! Y a pesar de que no suelo usar mucho color, también quiero comprarme uno naranja y otro verde! Son perfectos para esta época del año, ¿no creen?

Didn't the weekend go by too fast? I didn't do a lot besides sleeping, watching How I Met Your Mother episodes (I love the show!) and eating! After all, I had the busiest week ever with loads of work and events that just killed me! 

Anyway...this was my outfit today. I love these pants, they add the perfect pop of color! Even though I don't really wear a lot of it on a daily basis, orange & green pants are on my wishlist this season! Aren't they perfect for this time of the year?
